“English at ease” - is a project inspired by my students (and I have had a lot of them since 2007). So, some of them have already achieved good level of English and they no longer need to attend group or individual lessons.
Others want to learn the language, but somehow cannot squeeze English into their tight schedule because of children, work, family matters or something else. Also, the situation in the country is not beneficial itself due to electricity problems, poor internet connection, air raid alerts and the need to run to bomb shelters. Therefore, it is not possible for them to study, even though they really want to. As well, there are those students who want to learn the language with me, but I am fully booked and simply do not have time to squeeze them in. And, of course, there are those whom the teachers of our studio and me currently teach.
All of them periodically ask me one the same question: "How to maintain your level and not lose all the knowledge you already have accumulated, develop the language skills, learning something new?” In fact, I must say, it is easy to "lose" the language if you do not use it systematically. Have you noticed how difficult it is to start speaking English again after a break? It seems that you forgot everything and the place of progress is occupied by regress.
The language is like abdominal muscles or any other relief of the body: it must be systematically supported, pumped up and taken care of so that it does not "hide behind sweet candies and salads", grows and strengthens.
